ORH Assessment is seeking a Director of Marketing And Business Development for its client, leader in distribution in Morocco.

You will lead the vision and goals for the product range, emphasizing both revenue growth and margin optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activate the sales force to acquire new customers effectively.
• Manage platform promotions to engage, retain, and enhance the size and profitability of shopping carts.
• Ensure that the company’s mission and objectives are in sync with strategic goals and stakeholders, including the technical team. Offer insights to technical teams on priority areas for achieving financial targets.
• Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), offering guidance on quarterly priorities, and overseeing the comprehensive roadmap.
• Attain performance objectives through OKRs and KPIs, emphasizing key commercial metrics (revenue, margin, order repeat rate, average cart size, etc.). Supervise team adherence to financial objectives.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering and establishing clear expectations directly (among supervised sales teams) and indirectly (e.g., advising marketing, customer success, logistics, or technical development teams).
• Contribute to expanding service offerings with a significant commercial focus (e.g., partnership proposals with logistics partners or the creation of new offerings such as a marketplace).

Profile & experience:

• Experience in retail in Morocco or a similar market, with P&L responsibility.
• Experience in FMCG.
• Expertise in trade marketing.
• In-depth understanding of sector trends and customer needs, coupled with a strong affinity for technology.
• Ability to create a customer value proposition and a vision for the product group.
